Update for my friends and former LiveJournal colleagues familiar with the fact that any information about my father (including his name) was denied me, and instead, a wall of deception was built, never to be dismantled by those who erected it. Guess what? Thanks to the internet and a higher power, that wall has come down. On April 28, 2012, I was contacted by a half-brother who had read my post on a genealogy website that I wrote 7 years ago. I have another brother and sister, and other family members as well, and tonight met my sister for the first time. My father died 23 years ago, but I planted the seed on the internet through that posting, and everything came together to bring us to this point of reconciliation. Yes, this is awesome news!
Don't know if any of you guys are still reading this journal here, since I have disappeared to Facebook under the name Yana Donovan.
